It may look like a bunch of folded laundry, but to my mother's heart it's so much more.
She's laying everything out, packing,
getting ready for her first day - of her last year of college.
The summer is drawing to an end and we will pack up her things,
no longer in a simple backpack that she'll bring home and empty out at the end of each day,
but to a house that she'll live in for many months.
It is how things are supposed to go, it's all good, in a bittersweet way.
