Bird Brain

I don't know how this cardinal is still alive
because this is his behavior for hours and hours and hours.
If it's not a car parked in the driveway and it's side mirror
it's a chair next to a picture window on the house.
The neighbors say they are woken up to him hitting the window everyday
in the fall and spring -
he hits their window for about 2 hours before coming to my house.
By the end of each season his head plumage looks quite bedraggled.
A true bird brain !!

Step 1 - sit on the mirror (or any object near a bright, reflective surface).

Step 2:  Fly to a spot where the reflection is better.  Aren't I beautiful?

Step 3:  Fly into another part of the reflective surface (mirror or window) REPEATEDLY!!!

Day 65
